And when summer finally came, we ran toward something else entirely. Freedom. The kind you only find when you leave everything behind and just go. New cities. New faces. New air.
We had an idea build the bag we always needed. A backpack made for travellers like us. The result wasn't what we hoped for.
We went back to the drawing board. And in parallel, another idea we'd been carrying finally came to life city bags that were useful, affordable and elegant for active women. Amalia & Dario was born.
Amalia & Dario resonated faster than we ever expected. Our customers pushed us forward and we answered with new models, new designs, new possibilities. The momentum was unstoppable
The traveller in us never accepted our first failure. We kept working, kept searching for a solution a backpack that could genuinely support an entire trip without compromise. After months of development, we built our own vacuum compression system !
Ready to launch, we considered creating a separate brand. But Amalia & Dario's values and message aligned so perfectly with our new line that the choice was clear one brand, one vision. With the Summer 2026 collection, Amalia & Dario became what it was always meant to be: built by active people, for active people. No boundaries. Just ambition, carried.
